WOW! Once again time goes why to fast. We have been super busy with our little Oreo and moving to a new place which we love! But this blog post is not about us its all about our little Oreo who is growing so fast. This is our fun little way of catching you up to date on our life.
In order to catch you up to date we need to start back in September with the Oreo's first LOTOJA!
LOTOJA is a bike race that the Muffin's mom does every year. It is 206 miles long and the bikers do it all in one day. This is something that we plan many months in advance.
First thing we do is get the car ready by putting our signs up and packing the car with everything we will need for the race (which is a lot of stuff). The Oreo was excited to help!
The next day we rush to see some of the riders start the race. They divide the riders up into different divisions there are many waves of riders that start as early as 6am.
We then rush to the first stop the bikers make. We are the best support crew!
We stop for a picnic in the afternoon then we are on our way again.
While in the car we like to watch the bikers out the window. The first day of LOTOJA we are in the car on average about 12 hrs. And that is why it feels so amazing for both support crew and the riders to finally make it to the...........
Finish Line!!!!
And to our cabin for a good night sleep.
Now on to more adventures....

The Oreo's first Halloween... he was a little tiger which was so cute it even has a little tail which you can't see. What was also very exciting for us is that the Oreo was just learning to sit up on his own.
We as first time parents get really excited about sharing new experiences with our children his first snow storm was no exception.
As you can see he had a ton of fun outside with us. He was so curious about the snow he would tilt his head back as far as he could just to feel the snowflakes on his face. Watching the Oreo touch the snow was just so amusing.
Starting solid food was an exciting adventure and still is. You can not tell from these pictures but this kid can be a monster when he eats. He loves to grab the spoon right out of our hands we finally got him his own spoon and fork. We are grateful that he loves to eat and he eats a ton!
It's not very often that on your first Christmas you get to play Santa Clause. I don't know how thrilled this little guy was to play Santa but he sure was cute.
Once the Oreo started to learn to crawl and move around there was nothing that was going to stop him from exploring his world. It did not take long for him to discover the toilet paper. He does not look very innocent, does he?
Other little things that happened...
Oreo's first paper cut
and his first little shoes
And now for the big finale
The Oreo's First Birthday!
The Muffin's mom is the one who did the cake. It turned out so amazing. She made the engine and three little boxcars. The first car was vanilla and the other three were chocolate.
Then when we tried to get a picture with the Oreo and his cake... he put his foot right in the cake! LOL Did not even notice but it had all of us laughing.
Then he went for the ice cream scoop. We think he knew that the ice cream was something that he never had before and he was ready to go.
He finally got a piece of cake and some ice cream ( thanks to the grandparents :) ) and he loved them. This was the best part of the night, watching our little man eat his cake and ice cream with gusto!
We love our family and it has been a great year. We look forward to more firsts and the years ahead.
